A mural celebrating Jewish children’s authors has been completed at Muswell Hill Synagogue in London. The mural depicts a library scene featuring more than 50 acclaimed authors, and I am honored to be among those included. The two-panel artwork serves as the centerpiece of a new children’s reading area, commissioned by Green Bean Books publisher Michael Leventhal in memory of his mother. An accompanying pamphlet identifies the authors portrayed in the mural and provides brief biographical sketches of each.
